TMI-Orion is offering a complete product line for monitoring temperature during metallurgy processes: heat treatment, annealing, brazing, surface treatment, casting and any other processes where the control of homogeneity of temperature is a key factor to the best production quality.
The highest temperature can be measurement with thermal shields customized to the application thermal profile.
Most of the thermal processes of metals can be controlled by VACQ Flat or VACQ III thermocouple data loggers. Placed inside a thermal shield the logger can resist to temperature up to 1100°C. 4 to 16 thermocouples are spread around at critical points of the thermal process. The design for hermiticity can be customized as a function of the process environment (pressure, vacuum, gaz). The thermal profile and the process dimensions are key factors for defining the size and the shape of the thermal shield.
A real time data transmission is very often possible. Linked to a feedback loop on the process, this equipment is a must for the best control of your processes.
The VACQ xFlat comes in many version from 4 to 16 themocouples. It is 10 mm high without thermal shield. Customized thermal shields enable adaptation to most of the thermal treatment processes.
Radio transmission version is also available.
New VACQ III
The VACQ III enables temperature measurement in harshest industrial environment. It is watertight under pressure.
A connection head is tied to 8 or 16 thermocouple plugs.
A Radio Transmission version, for real time reading of recorded data is available.
It has an internal thermal protection that gives exceptional performances.
VACQ II with the thermocouple plugs
QLEVER software, developped by TMI-Orion, allows data reading and processing. It is compatible with the radio transmission version and can be linked to a process control system.
An extanded line of thermal shields is available for most of the applications. Besides a line of standard thermal shields we are considering customized solutions.
Various technologies can be adapted to the customer needs: insulator, thermoplastics, Dewar, Phase Change Material or a combinaton of all.
