How does a logger work?

There are there basic operations:

1) You need a PC with a TMI-Orion software. The PC is connected to the logger through an interface box. With the software you give instructions to the logger such as time to start, duration of measurement, acquisition rate ...

2) Then you put the logger inside the process, as shown in two exemples below and the logger records data during the programmed duration.

3) You take the logger out of the process and you connect it to the PC. With the TMI-Orion software you read the data out and you are able to display plots and measurement reports.

Note: in case of logger transmitting data with radio transmission the data reading is done in real time without any wired communication between the logger and the PC.
