Communication and Connectivity

The data acquired by the loggers need to be downloaded to a PC either in real time or after the fact.
  • Real time read out is possible with the radio option available on many of our data loggers.
  • After the fact reading is possible with a wired interface on all our data loggers.

These loggers have been developped for transmitting data in real time but also for recording data as any data logger. They have the same temperature specifications as the standard loggers. The NanoVACQ's FM have the same diameter than the standard NanoVACQ but they can be longer depending on the temperature range and the batteries expected life time. Several frequency bands are available to fit different countries regulations.

The new generation of NanoVACQ Radio by TMI-Orion uses 2.4GHz bandwidth. TMI-Orion experience in the field of real time data transmission is consolidated by the evolution of its previous offer of 433MHz/915MHz devices to new 2.4GHz bandwidth. A wide range of loggers is offered in ISM transmitting bandwidth (without license) and is aimed at various application fields, among which sterilization, freeze-drying, pasteurization or long reach transmissions for industrial ovens... The NanoVACQ radio loggers use the technology based on norm IEEE 802.15.4, which enables to manage various loggers in the same space with higher sampling rate. The lower layers of the norm also allow better radio transmission between the loggers and the receiving base station connected to the computer.

In order to answer a large number of applications, TMI-Orion NanoVACQ Radio are equipped with a connectable antenna. A special connector ensures water tightness on a large range of pressure and vacuum, as well as better radio wave data transmission conditions. The receiving base station can be connected either directly by USB, or using a long distance connection RS485 type, or even using an Ethernet connection. This range of I/O's allows integrating the system in complex configurations.

Real time data visualization and interpretation is done with QLEVER, a new software by TMI-Orion. Receiving and analyzing the data is done through its smart and user friendly interface.

The communication interface with the PC is a device that links the data logger to the PC. The transmission is done both ways in order to program the data logger and read out the data.
The single and multi interfaces are equipped with an USB connector.

A single interface communicates with only one data logger while the multi interface communicates with 6 data loggers simultaneously. They are easily connectable and can form a daisy chain up to 96 data loggers with a simultaneous communication.

Standard : TMIGateway, an API for using your own data processing software.

 

TMIGateway is our new API (Application Programming Interface).

You can communicate, program and read the TMI ORION dataloggers thru the TMI ORION interface with your own data processing and reporting software.

TMIGateway API includes :

• dll to be added to your project.
• Documentation with example.
• C# test project so you get a real example to learn from.


 

 

Customized : Connect your TMI-Orion radio data loggers to your network



TMI-Orion is now offering customized solutions to carry out remote control of its radio data loggers through a wireless connection to your network. The system consists of one or several data loggers and one receiver connected to your network through Ethernet protocol.

A specific software may be developped to adapt the use of the data processing TMI-Orion QLEVER system on your network.

It is also possibble to consider using your own data processing software thanks to a TMI-Orion API (Application Programming Interface) software gateway between the receiver and your network.

Moreover data can be sent to any terminal (PC, Smartphone...) via Internet. This open architecture enables the use of your own operating system (Windows, Linux, Mac...) and your own data processing software.

We will consider to respond to your specific needs. Many special applications are already running in pharma and food industries !
