| A way to get real time data as well as vehicle positionning
With the radio transmission data loggers, TMI-Orion offers a new communication mode using GPS network. It is then possible to monitor, in real time, the measured physical parameters inside mobile processes such as trucks and ships.
The informations can be displayed at a control center with a PC or PDA.
A GPS communication system is composed generally of the three following functions: - Physical parameters measurement
Measurement can be performed either with a sensor directly attached to the Mobile Communication System or with a radio NanoVACQ data logger placed inside the process to be measured and linked to the Mobile Communication System with a short range (few 10's of meters) radio transmision.
- Mobile Communication System
This system includes the following hardware or functions: Modem GPS, GSM, GPRS, UMTS Bands 900 MHz or 1800 MHz Power supply 11 V to 28 V SIM card reader GPS, GSM, GPRS, 4G antenna GPS: 12 high sensitivity channels Accuracy better than 100 m Application software Communication management with the Data Logger and the Control Center Positionning logging: 4320 recording that is 3 days for 1 position/minute or 15 days for 1 position/5 minutes. - Control center
Visualisation of physical and geographic data in real time. Type of data: position, speed, direction, accuracy, measurement plots Three simultaneous windows mapping with geographic coordinates Planning and supervision of routes, schedules, loading and deliveries. Statistics : distances, timings etc.... Bidirectional communication with the vehicles Alarms: time, position, stops, routes ... All data print out and logging Simultaneous supervision of 50 mobiles (option up to 500) Real time display and logging of measured physical paramaters.
